The Hydrology Days were held in Trento, Italy, on June 27-29. The Days had the overall objective of establishing a bridge between Hydrology Research, Public Administration and Professional Practitioners to work synergistically for proper monitoring and management of water resources for the prevention and mitigation of natural hazards in a context of global changes. In particular, the Days addressed through the three sessions and the panel discussion a summary of the state of the art on the issues of monitoring, practices for resource management, methodologies for the management prevention and mitigation of natural hazards, and climate change adaptation strategies, with reference to Italy, Europe or other countries.
