Hydrology Days 2023 in Matera (Sept. 13-15, 2023)
The Hydrology Days 2023, entitled “Complexity of Hydrological Phenomena in the natural and anthropized environment” will be held in Matera (UNIBAS Campus, Via Lanera 20), beginning in the early afternoon of Wednesday, Sept. 13, and ending at lunchtime on Friday, Sept. 15, and will be preceded (Wednesday morning, Sept. 13) by activities of the YHS-IT (Young Hydrological Society-Italy) at the same venue.

We ask all participants to confirm, by August 20, 2023, their participation in the event, by filling out the form available here.

REGISTRATION
Participation at the Hydrology Days is free of charge, but is restricted to members of the Hydrological Society Italian. Registration/renewal to the SII may also be done in Matera when registering for the Hydrology Days, but we encourage those who intend to attend to register or renew their SII membership for the year 2023 prior to registration, by following the instructions here.

July 24: Notification of acceptance and submission of list of oral/poster contributions to authors

INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS OF POSTER PRESENTATIONS
The official template for poster preparation was emailed to authors on 07/24/2023.
In addition to the poster discussion, a flash presentation (1 minute) is scheduled during the plenary session. Authors are asked to prepare a single slide, which should be sent digitally (a single slide in format pdf 16:9) to “giornateidrologia2023@gmail.com,” by Sept. 10, 2023, indicating the name of the contribution to which it relates.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS OF ORAL PRESENTATIONS
The presentation should be no longer than12 minutes in length, to leave a few minutes for discussion/questions.
It is not necessary to stick to a specific slide template.
Authors who could not attend should give notice as soon as possible to “giornateidrologia2023@gmail.com”.
HOW TO REACH MATERA
By Train
From Salerno with Trenitalia AV the connection is through Freccia-Link and Italo-Bus; the service is developed in connection with Freccia Rossa and Italo trains.
Alternatively, from Ferrandina Scalo it is possible to continue to Matera with private bus companies. The station is on the Salerno-Eboli-Potenza-Metaponto-Taranto route.
From Bari by train it is possible to continue to Matera with the local FAL railway (not far from the station at Bari central). https://ferrovieappulolucane.it/
Alternatively, by bus connections through private bus companies.
By bus
Several bus connections can be found in many cities in Italy through connecting companies private: Marino, Marozzi, Flixbus, Grassani and others.
By plane
● From Bari (about 60 km away) – Bari Palese Airport – Direct shuttle bus connection. Pugliairbus (https://www.aeroportidipuglia.it/bus-pugliairbus-)
● From Brindisi (about 150 km) – Brindisi Airport – service provided by Pugliairbus via Bari Airport Palese (and vice versa).
● From Naples (about 300 km away) – Naples Capodichino Airport – via bus (see the section “by bus”).
